Instructions and troubleshooting

VPNVB Help Center

Start with your account, subscription and client, then move on to routes, speed and billing. Each article provides a practical sequence of checks.

Account & Subscription

Account & subscriptions

Handle registration, subscription configuration, device changes and credential management. When a subscription cannot be retrieved, confirm the account status first, then check the client import process.

How do I create a VPNVB account?

No email address is required. Set a username and password to complete registration. Use a username reserved for this service and a strong password, and store your login details securely. After registration, open the user panel to choose a plan. With an active subscription, you can get the client entry point and subscription configuration from the panel.

Where can I get my subscription link, and how do I update it after importing it?

Sign in to the user panel and find the current account subscription configuration in the subscription and client section, then import it into the client for your platform. When the route list changes, use the client’s update subscription or refresh configuration function instead of creating another local configuration. If the list does not change, close and reopen the client, then confirm that the imported configuration is the one currently provided by the panel.

Do I need to purchase another plan when I change devices?

No. VPNVB does not limit the number of devices. One account can be used on Windows, macOS, iOS, Android and Linux. On a new device, sign in to the user panel and obtain the client and subscription configuration. When an old device is no longer in use, delete its saved subscription configuration so account details are not left on an idle device.

What should I do if my subscription link is exposed?

A subscription link works as an access credential for your account configuration. Do not share it publicly or store it where others can read it. If it has been exposed, stop sharing the old link and submit a ticket through the user panel with the details, requesting that the subscription credential be handled. After processing, delete the old configuration from each device, then obtain the current configuration from the panel and import it again.

Connection & Troubleshooting

Connections & troubleshooting

Connection issues require separating the local network, account status, subscription configuration and client rules. Change only one condition at a time to identify the source of the problem.

What should I check first when the client cannot connect at all?

First confirm that your local network can open commonly used websites, then check that the plan is active and the remaining traffic is normal. Update the subscription, switch to another route and reconnect. If it still fails, close other tools that may also modify system network settings, then restart the client. When submitting a ticket, include the platform, the error text shown in the client, the selected route and the troubleshooting steps already completed.

Why does the browser work while a particular app does not use the proxy?

This is usually related to the client mode or split-routing rules. Make sure the app is fully closed, reopen it, then temporarily switch the client from rule mode to global mode for comparison. If global mode works, the issue is likely in the split-routing rules; update the subscription and rules before testing again. If neither mode works, switch routes and check whether the app is still using an old connection.

What should I do if a subscription update fails or says the configuration is invalid?

Confirm that the account plan is still active, then copy the current subscription configuration directly from the user panel instead of using content saved in chat history or an old document. Check whether the client truncated the end of the link, delete the existing subscription entry and import it again. If the panel opens but the client still cannot update, record the error and submit it through a ticket rather than repeatedly changing unrelated system settings.

How can I stop frequent disconnections after sending the mobile client to the background?

Check whether the system restricts the client’s background activity, and allow it to continue running after network changes. When returning to the foreground, disconnect and reconnect to rebuild the local network state. If the issue occurs only after switching between Wi-Fi and cellular networks, wait for the connection to stabilize before reconnecting. If it continues, update the subscription and compare with another route.

Speed & Routes

Speed & routes

Speed is not determined by the route name alone. The local access network, exit region, target service and persistent connection stability all affect the final experience.

How do I choose a route for my current needs?

Choose an exit region based on your use case, then compare real-world web access, persistent connections and video loading. For everyday browsing, prioritize a nearby route that remains stable. When using AI Tools, check whether sessions stay connected. For Streaming, choose a route explicitly supported by the service and region. VPNVB covers 100+ countries / 210+ routes, so you can compare routes across regions.

What should I do if speeds slow down or buffering starts during peak hours?

First access commonly used services directly through the local network to determine whether the issue comes from the current access network. Once the local network is confirmed to be working, update the subscription and switch to another route in the same region. If routes in that region perform similarly, compare with a nearby region. Keep the client mode, device and target service unchanged during testing, and avoid downloading files at the same time so any change can be attributed to the route.

How do I troubleshoot lower Streaming quality or frequent buffering?

Stop other tasks using the network, then reopen the playback page so the platform can renegotiate video quality. Check whether the selected route supports the target Streaming service and try other available routes in the same region. If the issue remains limited to specific content after switching routes, clear the service’s local cache and sign in again. Do not rely only on an instant speed test; playback stability over time is more informative.

What should I do when an AI Tools page opens but conversations frequently disconnect?

A page loading successfully does not mean a persistent connection will remain stable. Keep the exit region unchanged, switch to another route in the same region, reopen the session and observe whether the connection persists. Temporarily disable browser extensions that modify requests or network behavior for comparison. If the browser works but a standalone app does not, test global mode to determine whether a split-routing rule is missing.

Billing & Refund

Billing & refunds

Monthly subscriptions and traffic packages use different traffic rules. Confirm the product type, plan status and order details before upgrading, paying or requesting a refund.

What monthly subscription tiers are available, and how does traffic reset?

Monthly subscriptions include ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB, and ¥28/month with 500GB. Traffic resets monthly on the activation date rather than on the first day of each calendar month. Choose a tier based on your actual browsing, Streaming and file-transfer usage. If the current cycle does not provide enough traffic, check the user panel for upgrade or traffic package options.

Does traffic in a package reset every month?

No. Traffic packages remain available until used and never expire. The tiers are ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB and ¥658/3000GB. Unlike monthly subscriptions, which reset each month on the activation date, packages suit users with variable usage or those who want to keep unused traffic long term. Before purchasing, confirm on the plan page whether you are choosing a monthly subscription or a traffic package.

How is a mid-cycle monthly subscription upgrade calculated?

For a mid-cycle monthly subscription upgrade, the price difference is prorated based on the remaining days. Before proceeding, verify the current plan, target plan and settlement result shown in the user panel, then confirm the upgrade. After upgrading, update the client subscription so the account status and route configuration stay in sync. If the displayed result differs from your expectation, do not submit the order repeatedly; attach the order-page details to a ticket instead.

Which payment methods are supported, and how do I request a refund?

VPNVB supports Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT and offers a 30-day no-questions-asked refund. To request a refund, sign in to the user panel, open the ticket area and submit the relevant order details and refund request. Do not create the same order again before applying. Keep the ticket record after submission and add any necessary information to the original ticket so the order and payment status can be checked.
